One of my close friends inspired me to do something different this month. Not my usual bhangra style, but another flavor I like. This mix has an electro, dance, and dubstep flavor to it. This months mix features Brand New Tracks from North American artists like Deep Jandu and Dj KSR, as well as Northern California’s Sukhi Dosanjh, Hari-B, and Sukhwinder Paanchi along with the late Ustad Kuldeep Manak. Loss of a Legend – RIP Kuldeep Manak

Today the bhangra industry mourns a devastating loss of a legend. Kaliyan Da Badshah, Kuldeep Manak passed away yesterday after fighting kidney problems. The legendary vocalist touched a lot lives and inspired the music of many great artists of our time.

We just wanted to post some of our favorite songs by Kuldeep Manak. Enjoy.

We decided to post an old remix by Harvi Bhachu to one of our favorite Surjit Bindrakhia tracks. November 17th 2011 marked the 8 year death anniversary of the legendary punjabi vocalist, and the Bol Punjab De djs wanted to release this as a tribute to singer who left a huge impact on the entire bhangra industry. RIP Surjit Bindrakhia.
